Be a part of our Trans art gallery

Every year, in the lead up to Trans Day of Remembrance on 20 November, we celebrate a week called Trans Awareness Week (14-19 Nov). This year, TransHub, ACON, and the City of Sydney have partnered up to develop an online community gallery of artwork by trans people of all genders and our cis allies, and we want you to be a part of it.

You can focus on art that builds awareness, and/or remembers the trans people we've lost.

We’re looking for your artwork on one of four themes: Affirmation, Community, Remembrance, and Resilience. This could be:

  • An original artwork, in any medium

  • A letter, story, or poem

  • A collage of your own artistic elements or photographs

  • Colouring in or artistically interpreting one of our four templates.

Please note that we cannot include artworks that contain photographs of faces - either your own or others’.

Please ensure that all artwork is A4 sized, and in portrait orientation, as pictured below.
